Brady Swedberg PGA
Owner/Director of Instruction
After a successful junior and amateur career Brady turned professional in 2006. Brady has 18 professional wins and continues to compete at a high level. He is passionate about helping young athletes learn how to compete and play golf to their highest potential. Brady has 2 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level - Arizona Christian University. He also has 8 years of coaching experience at the high school level. The last 7 years being with the Alexandria boys golf team where they have won their section and played in the AAA state tournament each of those years. Brady has seen many of his players go on to receive college golf scholarships including 6 at the division 1 level.
Casey Vangsness PGA ASSOCIATE
Lead Instructor & Club Fitter
Casey is an Alexandria native. Growing up the youngest of three boys in a golf family, he’s had a club in his hands his entire life. Casey was four time All Conference at Saint John’s University highlighted by a First Team All American honor in 2013 and MIAC Player of the Year in 2014. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Leadership in 2014. For the past decade, he has spent time playing professionally followed by several roles as a golf professional or coach: Collegiate Assistant Coach, Teaching Professional, Assistant Golf Professional, and most recently the Head Golf Professional at Minnewaska Golf Club from 2020-2024. Casey has a passion for helping others enjoy the game, whether that be through instruction, club fitting, or coaching. He enjoys competing, has 8 professional wins within the MN PGA Section, and resides in the Alexandria community with his wife Carli and two children.
Lauren Stockmoe PGA ASSOCIATE
Junior Golf Director, Instructor & Club Fitter
Lauren is an Alexandria native, former Bemidji State University Women's Golf Captain, and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Lauren has been playing golf since age 12 and is dedicated to growing the game. She is extremely passionate about junior golf and increasing female presence in golf. Along with teaching at the academy, Lauren is the assistant coach for the Alexandria Area High School Girls Golf team and the Alexandria College Men's and Women's teams.
Maggie Slagle
Business Manager
Maggie is also an Alexandria native. She graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Sport Management. Maggie not only is committed to the customers academy experience, she is also in charge of all the behind-the-scenes activities; scheduling lessons/club fittings and simulator time, as well as running social media accounts. She also works with our outside vendors and organizes all in-shop merchandise and equipment.
